Los SAG Awards, prestigioso premió entregado por el sindicato de Actores de Hollywood, los cuales fueron un verdadero espectáculo para los amantes de las series y el cine, los premios se llevaron a cabo en el Shrine Exposition Center en Los Ángeles y fue conducida por primera vez por una mujer, Kristen Bell.
Aunque había muchos ganadores, los favoritos de la noche fueron “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri” en español “Tres anuncios por un crimen” y las series “This Is Us”, “Veep” y “Big Little Lies.”
La ceremonia estuvo llena de momentos tensos y emotivos, resaltando el poder de la mujer en la industria del cine y James Franco fue el personaje menos aplaudido, tras anunciar su nominación como Mejor Actor por “The Disaster Artist”.
